Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Locksmith (ranked 4751 p4p, 3400 weight class) and Ivan Dragonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Dragonov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragonov avoids the head kick by Locksmith.
A left lands for Dragonov.
Dragonov sizes up Locksmith with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Dragonov rushes Locksmith and presses him up against the cage.

Dragonov manages to break the clinch.
Dragonov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Locksmith ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
It looked like Locksmith was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A telegraphed right hand from Dragonov misses the target.
A jab lands there for Dragonov.
Locksmith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dragonov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dragonov moves out of range as Locksmith throws a body kick.
Dragonov lands a really nice looking cross but Locksmith seems unphased.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dragonov, as that shot connected.

Dragonov gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dragonov holds on and takes a little breather.
Locksmith with a nice head shot there.
Locksmith is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dragonov can't keep his opponent in guard - Locksmith advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Dragonov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Locksmith performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Locksmith decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Ivan Dragonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dragonov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Locksmith sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Locksmith throws a quick counter kick to the body but Dragonov avoids it.
The fighters circling - Locksmith throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dragonov is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Dragonov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Locksmith has time to react.
Locksmith throws a chopping leg kick but Dragonov manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Locksmith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dragonov moves away.

Dragonov scores with a hook to the body. Locksmith takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dragonov misses with a straight right.
Dragonov thuds his right hand into Locksmith's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Dragonov moves into the clinch.
Locksmith displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dragonov up against the cage.
Locksmith is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dragonov is keeping busy.

Dragonov breaks the clinch.
Locksmith has a takedown stuffed.
Ivan Dragonov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dragonov scores with a hook.
Dragonov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Locksmith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Locksmith looks for a takedown but Dragonov sprawls well.
Dragonov lands a nice hook to Locksmith's body. Locksmith takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dragonov cracks Locksmith with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dragonov tests Locksmith's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Dragonov lands a big uppercut and Locksmith crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Locksmith looks OK. Dragonov waves Locksmith back to his feet!

Locksmith is rocked!

It looks like Ronaldo Locksmith has been cut.
Dragonov scores with a shot to the body.
Oh Locksmith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dragonov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Locksmith is breathing heavily.
Locksmith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Dragonov has Locksmith up against the cage in a clinch.
Dragonov prevents a body shot from Locksmith.

Dragonov breaks the clinch.
Locksmith seems to have got his legs back now.
Dragonov is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Locksmith had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Dragonov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dragonov wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronaldo Locksmith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dragonov scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
