Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Garth Roosevelt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adicos Mishima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roosevelt tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mishima paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Roosevelt stuffs the takedown.
Roosevelt throws a head kick that half lands.

It looks like Adicos Mishima has been cut.
Roosevelt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A left lands for Mishima.
Roosevelt wants to clinch up but Mishima keeps it at a distance.
Roosevelt tries to clinch up but Mishima circles away and keeps his distance.

Mishima closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mishima lands in his opponent's guard.
Mishima wants to pass the guard but Roosevelt is keeping the position.
Roosevelt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mishima on the ground.

Roosevelt has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mishima is working away from the top position though.

Mishima is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Roosevelt doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mishima.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Roosevelt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mishima swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mishima shoots in for a double leg but Roosevelt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A big right from Mishima misses.

Mishima bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mishima wants to control but Roosevelt is keeping him busy.

Roosevelt parries the strikes from Mishima easily there. Mishima is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Roosevelt to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roosevelt pushes Mishima away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mishima gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Roosevelt wants to control but Mishima postures up.
Roosevelt tries to buck Mishima off but Mishima is having none of it.

Roosevelt moves in looking to clinch but Mishima pushes him off.
Roosevelt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mishima misses with a few strikes there.
Horrible takedown by Mishima or perhaps it was just good defense by Roosevelt which made him look bad.

Mishima drops his hands momentarily and Roosevelt needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Mishima just on the top of the head. Mishima drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Mishima - he's done!
