Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pj Pavlovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brook Brokovsky!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brokovsky dives in and scores a takedown into Pavlovic's guard.
Brokovsky tries to free his leg and advance position but Pavlovic is retaining full guard.
Pavlovic is trying to control the position but Brokovsky postures up.
Pavlovic on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pavlovic tries to get out of the position.

Pavlovic looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Pavlovic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pavlovic is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pavlovic lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Brokovsky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pavlovic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pavlovic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Brokovsky has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Pavlovic is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Brokovsky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Brokovsky turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Pavlovic tries to improve position but can't.
Brokovsky advances nicely into full mount.
Brokovsky tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Pavlovic is breathing heavily.
Pavlovic takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Brokovsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pavlovic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Pavlovic slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
More stalling from Brokovsky.

Brokovsky decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Brokovsky throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pavlovic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Brokovsky shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pavlovic napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brokovsky tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Brokovsky shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pavlovic napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Pavlovic tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brokovsky wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Brokovsky looks up at the clock and then as Pavlovic takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Brokovsky smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Pavlovic can't do much from the bottom here.

Brokovsky has knee on belly momentarily but Pavlovic bucks him off and regains half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Pavlovic closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Brokovsky shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pavlovic sprawls well. Pavlovic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brokovsky gets slowly back to his feet.

Pavlovic has hold of Brokovsky's hands but Brokovsky slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Pavlovic is rocked!

Brook Brokovsky comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brokovsky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
