Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gary Bellamy (ranked 6495 p4p, 6120 weight class) and Cranky Weasel (ranked 452 p4p, 442 weight class). Cranky Weasel will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gary Bellamy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cranky Weasel!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weasel throws an overhand right that lands on Bellamy's shoulder, as Bellamy tries to avoid the shot.
Nice straight punches there by Weasel. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Weasel.
Bellamy scores with a nice strike.
Weasel lands a lovely overhand right.
Weasel connects with a right hand. Bellamy shakes it off.
Weasel looks to land a left hand but Bellamy moved out of range nicely.
Bellamy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bellamy misses with a few strikes there.
Weasel throws out a counter right but Bellamy avoids it with no problem.
Weasel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bellamy has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bellamy there as he acknowledges the shot.

Bellamy throws a big counter combination but Weasel scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Weasel looks to land a right hand but Bellamy moved out of range.
Weasel cracks Bellamy with a right hand to the side of the head.
Oh Bellamy is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bellamy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Weasel at a distance.
Bellamy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Weasel.
Bellamy seems to have got his legs back now.

Bellamy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Bellamy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Bellamy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Weasel moves away.

Weasel gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bellamy throws a series of punches but Weasel avoids them all with ease.

Weasel moves out of range as Bellamy strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Weasel thows a left - swing and a miss!
Weasel connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Bellamy cracks Weasel with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Weasel connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Bellamy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Weasel throws out the jab.
Bellamy went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Weasel is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bellamy had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Bellamy misses with a low kick.
Bellamy is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bellamy looks to land a combination but Weasel avoids it well.
Bellamy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Weasel throws a nice looking combination but Bellamy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nice shot lands for Weasel.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bellamy darts in and clinches Weasel up against the ropes.
Bellamy lands a body shot in the clinch.
Bellamy lands a left hand that snaps the head of Weasel backwards.

Bellamy swings wildly with an uppercut but Weasel uses good head movement to avoid it.
Weasel is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Weasel scores with a nice hook to the head.
Bellamy misses with a hook to the ribs.
Weasel is trying to break the clinch but Bellamy has him pressed against the ropes.

Bellamy throws a head punch that misses.
Weasel blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Weasel looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bellamy is looking to take this one to the mat.

Bellamy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Weasel cracks Bellamy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Good shot there by Weasel.

Bellamy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bellamy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
You can see the frustration on Weasel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Cranky Weasel dominated that round.
That's time! Bellamy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Weasel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Weasel loads up on a big right hand but Bellamy slips the punch.
Weasel might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bellamy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bellamy misses with an uppercut.
A jab from Weasel does it's job there.
Weasel walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Bellamy drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Weasel swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Bellamy's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cranky Weasel!
