The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OShea circles away from the clinch attempt.
OShea wants to counter with a clinch but Barbosa pushes him away.

OShea gets in close and instigates a clinch.
OShea looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
OShea pushes Barbosa back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Barbosa tries to pull guard but OShea holds him up against the cage and eventually Barbosa drops back down to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

OShea is pressed up against the cage. Barbosa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag OShea down to the mat. OShea avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

OShea lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Barbosa or not.
Barbosa tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. OShea smiles and moves away.

OShea closes the distance and pushes Barbosa back into the cage.

OShea's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

OShea really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barbosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Barbosa is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but OShea is surviving well by controlling Barbosa's body position as best he can.

Barbosa is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. OShea has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Barbosa has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! OShea taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Barbosa doesn't care though - he's delighted!
