The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jacksson gets caught flat footed, as Foster shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jacksson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Foster manages to pass to side control.
Foster trying to mount his opponent but Jacksson defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foster landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Jacksson pushes Foster off looking to stand but Foster dives back in and keeps control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Foster wants to pass the guard but Jacksson is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jacksson can do anything to dispel that myth.
Foster is nestled in close to Jacksson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jacksson is looking to get back to is feet but Foster passes into side control.

Foster has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jacksson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Foster yanks on the arm and Jacksson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Foster.
