Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Long Dong (ranked 24901 p4p, 3831 weight class) and Pentti Koyri (ranked 743 p4p, 471 weight class). Pentti Koyri acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pentti Koyri!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koyri throws out a loose jab but Dong uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dong is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Koyri swings widly with a right hand
and Dong counters with a series of strikes. Koyri will be more careful next time no doubt.
Koyri is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dong.

Dong shoots in for a takedown but Koyri shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Long Dong will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dong works to advance to full mount. Koyri defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Koyri stops Dong from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Dong.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Koyri throws a hook to the side of Dong's head but Dong sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dong is looking to wear down Koyri with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Koyri swings for the body but Dong moves out of range.
Dong takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Koyri, as that shot connected.

Dong drops down looking for a counter takedown but Koyri sprawls and moves away.
Dong takes a jab right on the kisser.
Dong changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Koyri tries to avoid it but Dong manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Koyri to the ground. Koyri escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Long Dong. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dong drops his hands momentarily and Koyri takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Koyri digs a good body shot into Dong's ribs.
Koyri might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
