The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powaaah shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Powaaah fails to land with a series of punches.
Powaaah's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Powaaah scrambles back to his feet.
Dan misses with a straight left.
Dan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Powaaah.
Dan is looking to counter the offense by Powaaah and move into the clinch.
Powaaah misses with a wild combination.
Dan connects with a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dan closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Powaaah! Dan dives in looking to finish! Powaaah is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
