Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Jay (ranked 25150 p4p, 25159 weight class) and Juda Juada (ranked 684 p4p, 694 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tim Jay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juda Juada!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juada looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jay goes for a double leg but Juada avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Juada continues to drive forward.
Jay tries to score a body lock takedown but Juada shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Jay drops down looking for an ankle pick but Juada pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Jay. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jay bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Juada tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jay wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Juada can't do much from the bottom here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Juada can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jay creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Juada sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Juada is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jay slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Juada clinches up with Jay and pushes him back against the cage.

Tim Jay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jay tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Juada defends well and Jay ends up having to push Juada into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Juada is looking to stand back up but Jay counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Juada.

Juada is looking for a sweep. Jay is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jay is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Juada defends it well.

Juada will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tim Jay will probably get the nod.

Jay thows a huge punch but Juada dodges it nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jay, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
