The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Spice lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Spice's corner calls for a 1-2. Spice obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Mulder tries to score a power double leg takedown but Spice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mulder somewhat.
Spice lands with an uppercut that bounces Mulder off the cage and back into range.

Mulder gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Mulder fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Spice avoids it really well and circles away.

Mulder drops his hands momentarily and Spice takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cajun Spice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It seemed like Spice was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mulder looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Spice feints a jab promting Mulder to slip. Spice then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mulder slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Cajun Spice decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
