Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ricky Luciano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ginger Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luciano tries to clinch there but Johnson circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Luciano. That snapped Johnson's head back.
It looks like Ginger Johnson has been cut.
Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Johnson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Luciano fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Johnson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Luciano instigates a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Luciano.
Luciano lands with a light punch inside.
Johnson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Luciano escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Johnson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Luciano fails with an attempt to clinch.
Luciano bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Johnson's head backwards.
Luciano lands a big right hand that sends Johnson crashing to the mat! Luciano stays standing though and waves Johnson back to his feet!
Johnson is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Luciano knocks out Johnson with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Luciano before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Luciano picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ricky Luciano!
