Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Islandiano Islandish (ranked 2145 p4p, 2213 weight class) and Benson Mason (ranked 249 p4p, 263 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Islandish misses with a hook to the body
and Mason makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mason comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Mason changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Islandish is breathing heavily.

Mason drops Islandish with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Islandish looks back up at him and smiles so Mason waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Islandiano Islandish has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mason changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Mason cracks Islandish with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Islandish looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mason finish him?

Islandish is rocked!
Mason throws a pinpoint strike between Islandish's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Islandish crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Mason scores a great knockout victory!
