Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cheeto Bean (ranked 5491 p4p, 5206 weight class) and Mike Nara (ranked 621 p4p, 603 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cheeto Bean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mike Nara!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nara, as that shot connected.
Bean takes one to the side of the head.
Nara lands with a nice body punch.
Nara connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Bean moves out of range of the strikes.
Bean swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Bean blocks a jab.
Nara moves away from the strike by Bean.
Nara jabs Bean to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nara ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bean moves in looking to clinch but Nara pushes him off.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Nara! But no joy.
Bean misses with a looping right.
Nara throws a hook but Bean avoids it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nara connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Bean looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Nara misses with a looping left.

Bean misses with a body punch
and Nara counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bean tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nara was well out of range. Poor timing from Bean.
Bean takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Nara scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Nara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bean moves away.
Nara scores with a shot to the body.
Nara throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bean really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bean wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Nara misses with a hook. Bean ducked under it nicely.
Nara misses with an uppercut.
Nara missing with a left hand there. Bean was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bean doesn't manage to clinch there - Nara circles away.
Bean takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nara fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bean looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nara ducks under a wild hook from Bean.
Nara scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A jab lands there for Bean.
Nara cracks a nice hook into Bean's ribs.

Bean throws a hook but Nara blocks it.
Nara jabs at Bean's body.
Nara lands a nice shot to the body.
Bean is breathing heavily.
Nara digs a good hook to Bean's body.
Bean's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nara connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bean scrambles back to his feet.
Nara throws a hook to the side of Bean's head but Bean sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Bean wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Bean slips a straight right by Nara.
Nara connects with a single shot there.
Bean dodges the punch combination from Nara.
Nara jabbing away but nothing is landing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nara scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A lazy left from Nara finds it's target.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nara cracks Bean with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bean looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Nara finish him?

Bean is rocked!
Nara throws a shot from downtown. Bean moves away and avoids it.
Bean swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nara stuns Bean with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mike Nara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheers as Nara lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bean doesn't seem phased though.
Oh Bean is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bean bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
It looked like Bean wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Nara dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nara wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bean seems to have got his legs back now.
A big left from Nara misses.
Nara swings widly with a right hand
and Bean cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bean takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Nara scores with a hook to the body. Bean takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nara lands a body shot.
Nara throws a hook but Bean avoids it easily.
Nara throws a lazy uppercut

and Bean holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nara ducks under a wild hook from Bean.
Nara jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bean is looking to counter punch.
Nara connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Nara throws a lazy right hand but Bean sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A quick step to the side and Bean tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bean. Nara does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nara lands a nice looking body shot.
Bean takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nara looks to land a right hand but Bean moved out of range.
Nara connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nice cross by Nara.
Nara throws an overhand right that lands on Bean's shoulder, as Bean tries to avoid the shot.
Bean swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Decent striking displayed by Nara there.
Bean keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nara.

Nara scores with a shot to the body.
Nara punishes Bean's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nara jabs Bean right on the nose. Bean blinks but takes it well.
The fighters circling - Nara throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bean tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Nara manages to circle out of the way.
Bean moves away from the strike by Nara.
Bean has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bean there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nara jabs Bean to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Bean looks to throw the jab but Nara is out of range.
Bean staying out of range there.
Bean throwing a counter right hand but Nara manages to avoid it.
Nara connects with a body shot that sends Bean's belly button to the back.

Nara rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bean counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nara connects with a looping right hand.
Nara misses with a looping right.
Nara lands with a hook. Bean tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Nara jabs at Bean's body.
Nara lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bean is rocked!
A jab from Nara misses.
Bean was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bean takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Oh Bean is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mike Nara seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Bean is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Nara doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Bean crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Bean's bad books for that mishap!
