Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Space Jesus (ranked 3195 p4p, 3184 weight class) and Phuck Yermutha (ranked 415 p4p, 414 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Space Jesus!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Phuck Yermutha!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jesus clinches up with Yermutha and pushes him back against the cage.

Jesus gets control of Yermutha's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jesus will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Yermutha drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yermutha jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jesus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yermutha can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Yermutha drops back looking for a leg! Jesus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jesus manages to kick Yermutha off! Yermutha jumps back into Jesus's guard.

Jesus tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Yermutha is looking to pass into half guard but Jesus pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jesus is in guard.

Jesus has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Jesus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yermutha swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Yermutha isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jesus stacks Yermutha on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jesus!

Jesus goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Yermutha has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jesus but great work by Yermutha.

Yermutha thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Yermutha looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Yermutha ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yermutha no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Jesus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yermutha has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jesus has managed to get both his arms back between Yermutha's legs - danger averted.
