Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Loens (ranked 3217 p4p, 3839 weight class) and BH Turner (ranked 297 p4p, 347 weight class). Loens's entrance music is MMA Entrance Music / Justin Gaethje. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rudy Loens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, BH Turner!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner shoots for a double leg takedown but Loens sprawls well. He's pushed Turner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Loens drives through and clinches with Turner against the cage.
Loens is pressed up against the cage. Turner has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Loens down to the mat. Loens avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Turner throws a right hand that Loens ducks under and follows up with a left that Loens also avoids with ease.
Loens quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Turner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Loens's waist but Loens gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turner off to one side.
Rudy Loens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BH Turner.
Loens fails in his attempt to clinch.
Loens moves into the clinch.
Turner tries for a takedown. No joy.
Loens's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Turner with a nice calf kick.
Loens throws a sloppy head kick and Turner moves out of range easily.
Turner throws a low kick but it's checked well by Loens.
Turner lands a leg kick that knocks Loens off balance momentarily.
Loens is looking to clinch but Turner is avoiding it.
Turner looks for a takedown but Loens sprawls well.
Turner's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Turner's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Loens goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Loens moves into the clinch.
Turner turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Loens is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Turner has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Loens managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Turner.
Loens is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Sloppy strikes there by Turner.
Loens avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Turner.
Loens is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Turner has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Turner is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Loens looks calm but he's in trouble here. Turner gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Loens is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Turner lets go of the hold and Loens can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). BH Turner!
After winning the bout, BH Turner thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
