Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anwar Rinda (ranked 2680 p4p, 4029 weight class) and Tomas Moravcik (ranked 265 p4p, 368 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Moravcik .
Moravcik throws out a loose jab but Rinda uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rinda has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Rinda shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moravcik as he jumps to the side.

Moravcik lands with an uppercut that bounces Rinda off the cage and back into range.
Rinda uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Moravcik .
Moravcik throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rinda on the side of the head.

Rinda seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Moravcik for as long as he can get away with.

and Rinda counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Moravcik is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rinda is controlling him.

Rinda slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Rinda works to advance to full mount. Moravcik defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Anwar Rinda will probably get the nod.

Rinda takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Rinda looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moravcik is fending him off so far but Rinda persists. Nope, Moravcik circles away and we're back to standing.
It seemed like Moravcik was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Moravcik wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Rinda is now in half guard.

Anwar Rinda overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Rinda's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Tomas Moravcik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oh Rinda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rinda is aggressively charging in as Moravcik backs up avoiding any damage. Moravcik tosses out a jab and Rinda runs right into it face first! Rinda is out cold! Moravcik dropped down on all fours and is barking in Rinda's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
