Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between willie maykit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vicki Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vicki Williams will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams tries to clinch up but maykit circles away and keeps his distance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

maykit is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Williams will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

and maykit counters with a left and a right that stings Williams.

maykit shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Williams's guard.
maykit stays in close to Williams's body and controls the position.
maykit seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Williams for as long as he can get away with.

Williams had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. maykit is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Williams Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take maykit's back instead.
Williams is looking to control maykit but maykit is wriggling around and keeping busy.
maykit really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Williams is trying to stick to maykit's back but maykit is turning into Williams. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Williams's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by maykit.

Williams reaches up and pulls maykit towards him, trying to control the position. maykit manages to get a guillotine from the mount though! This could be big trouble for Williams! Williams tries to roll over - now maykit is on the bottom but the guillotine is really deep and Williams has to tap out! Great work there by maykit!
