Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kentrell Turner (ranked 23877 p4p, 4608 weight class) and Reece Foy (ranked 813 p4p, 579 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kentrell Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reece Foy!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Foy is fending him off so far but Turner persists. Nope, Foy circles away and we're back to standing.
Foy throws a counter combo.
Turner falls off balance throwing a combination
and Foy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Kentrell Turner has been cut.
Foy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Turner.
Turner scoring well with a low kick there.
Turner jabs Foy right on the nose. Foy blinks but takes it well.
Nice uppercut there from Turner.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turner lands with a thumping leg kick.
Foy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Turner.
Turner scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Turner lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Turner dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Foy. That did some damage!
Turner buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Foy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turner but Turner pushes him off and we're back to square one.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Turner.
A solid leg kick lands there for Turner.
A chopping leg kick lands by Foy.
Horrible takedown attempt by Turner or perhaps it was just good defense by Foy, which made it look bad.
Foy is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Turner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Foy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Turner avoids it really well and circles away.

Turner has had enough of the clinch but Foy keeps him there for the moment.

Turner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Foy tries to avoid it but Turner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Foy to the ground. Foy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Turner lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Turner pivots, looking for a leg kick but Foy is out of range and Turner settles back down.
Foy tries to counter by closing the distance.
Turner connects with a solid leg kick.

Turner pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Foy back to the cage. Turner follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Foy takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Turner does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
As Turner backs off Foy throws a huge counter combo but Turner manages to avoid it all.
Turner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Foy leaves Turner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Foy fails with a takedown attempt.
Turner throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Turner sets himself, and Foy steps forward looking for the clinch! Turner avoids it this time.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Turner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Turner gets caught flat footed, as Foy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Foy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foy tries to free his leg and advance position but Turner is retaining full guard.
Foy trying to control but Turner is working from the bottom.

Foy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Foy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Turner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Foy can do to turn this around?

Foy trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Foy postures up and lands a big shot to Turner's brow.

Turner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Foy on the ground.

Foy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Foy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Foy fails with the takedown
and Turner counters with a three punch combo that has Foy backing up. Foy nods at Turner to acknowledge the strikes.
Kentrell Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Foy is defended easily by Turner.
Foy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turner swivels and escapes.

Foy has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Turner is on him like a limpet, forcing Foy back against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Turner feints and then cracks Foy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Foy down.

Foy dives in and grabs Turner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Turner pushes down on Foy's head and hops out.

Reece Foy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Foy lands with a hook. Turner tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kentrell Turner is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Foy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Turner can pounce on him.

Kentrell Turner showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Turner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
