The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsubekov fails with a takedown attempt.

Turner shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Turner prevents Tsubekov from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tsubekov moves into full guard.
Turner throws a big elbow that misses.

Tsubekov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tsubekov tries to get out of the position.

Tsubekov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Turner defends it easily.
Tsubekov pulls Turner in close to his closed guard and prevents Turner from doing any damage or advancing position.
Turner postures up in Tsubekov's guard and throws a big left but Tsubekov blocks it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tsubekov seems keen to control Turner's posture.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Tsubekov looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Tsubekov wants to sweep here but Turner controlling him for the moment.

Turner stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Tsubekov has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Turner manages to get his head free but now Tsubekov has transitioned to an armbar! Turner grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Tsubekov! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
