Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Allan Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Skrtel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allan Ramos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skrtel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ramos throws out the jab.
A combination from Ramos does no damage.
Ramos jabs Skrtel right on the nose. Skrtel blinks but takes it well.
Ramos looks to land a right hand but Skrtel moved out of range.

Skrtel shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ramos's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Allan Ramos will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ramos looking to break Skrtel's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Skrtel remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ramos will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Ramos is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Ramos is trying to stick to Skrtel's back but Skrtel is turning into Ramos. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ramos's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Skrtel.

Skrtel postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ramos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Skrtel, into his guard.

Skrtel isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ramos stacks Skrtel on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ramos!

Allan Ramos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
