Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Valentine (ranked 1269 p4p, 1167 weight class) and Leif Erikson (ranked 151 p4p, 166 weight class). Valentine comes to the cage accompanied by Man with the Harmonica by Ennio Morricone. Erikson has chosen Into Battle - Ensiferum as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erikson blocks a jab.
Erikson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Erikson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Valentine has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Good exchange - Erikson coming out on top.
Erikson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Valentine.
Leif Erikson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Erikson throws an off balance right hand
and Valentine counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Leif Erikson has been cut.
Erikson connects with a crisp jab.
Erikson throws a shot from downtown. Valentine moves away and avoids it.
Valentine on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Erikson thuds his right hand into Valentine's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Valentine is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Valentine is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Erikson doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Valentine crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Valentine's bad books for that mishap!
