And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Telegin swinging wildly here.
Badada is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Badada tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Telegin swivels and escapes.
Telegin throws a hook to the side of Badada's head but Badada sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Telegin looks to land a body kick but Badada moved away.
Badada takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Telegin throws a series of punches but Badada moves out of range.
Badada with the counter takedown but Telegin avoids it easily.

Badada shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Telegin pinned against the cage. Telegin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ermolay Telegin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Badada looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ermolay Telegin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Badada.
Badada goes for a double leg but Telegin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Telegin continues to drive forward.
Telegin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Telegin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Telegin cracks Badada with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Badada is looking to take a break and control but Telegin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Badada is looking for a kimura but Telegin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Badada to get the leverage.
