This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 4 losses; Joe Gatsby! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Rico Cole!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Cole instigates a clinch.
Gatsby has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cole after a bit of a struggle.
Cole is pressed up against the ropes. Gatsby has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cole down to the mat. Cole avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Cole moves into the clinch.

Gatsby is trying to trip Cole. He has hold of a leg but Cole is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gatsby persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
