Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giggle Valentine (ranked 4655 p4p, 6698 weight class) and Paul Bunyan (ranked 120 p4p, 144 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunyan misses with a takedown
and Valentine makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Valentine connects with a crisp jab.

Bunyan is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Valentine's half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bunyan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Valentine is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bunyan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bunyan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Valentine tries to improve position but can't.
Valentine knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bunyan on the ground.

Valentine tries to lock up and control but Bunyan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Bunyan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Valentine is surviving well by controlling Bunyan 's body position as best he can.
Valentine is looking to get to half guard.
Valentine manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Bunyan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Bunyan looks winded!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Valentine gets back to full guard.

Paul Bunyan dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

It looks like Paul Bunyan has been cut.

Giggle Valentine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Bunyan .
Bunyan tries to move into range but Valentine moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Bunyan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Valentine's waist but Valentine gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bunyan off to one side.
Bunyan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valentine but Valentine pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Valentine fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bunyan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bunyan is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Valentine scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Valentine. Bunyan shrugs it off though.

Valentine lands a big head kick that sends Bunyan tumbling to the mat! Valentine takes a step backwards and waves Bunyan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bunyan is rocked!
Valentine looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bunyan drops his hands momentarily. Valentine doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Bunyan staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Bunyan doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
