Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Farva (ranked 3197 p4p, 1842 weight class) and Sey La Vie (ranked 362 p4p, 213 weight class). Sey La Vie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sey La Vie!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Farva tries for a takedown but La Vie circles away easily
and La Vie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Rodney Farva has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
La Vie scores with a nice strike.

Farva doesn't succeed with the takedown
and La Vie counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Farva thinking.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by La Vie!

La Vie cracks Farva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. La Vie has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Farva to stand back up!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! La Vie throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Farva is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
