Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Danny Chapman (ranked 2413 p4p, 5668 weight class) and Frank Lucas Iv (ranked 244 p4p, 430 weight class). Danny Chapman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chapman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lucas Iv tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lucas Iv closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chapman quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Lucas Iv has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Chapman, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
