Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gervais Lavigne (ranked 760 p4p, 167 weight class) and Gemechu McKraken (ranked 48 p4p, 12 weight class). Gervais Lavigne could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gemechu McKraken's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gervais Lavigne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Gemechu McKraken!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavigne fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McKraken manages to avoid it.
McKraken shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lavigne's guard.
McKraken stands up over Lavigne, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
McKraken forces his way into half guard.
Lavigne is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Foundry, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

McKraken shoots in looking for a takedown. Lavigne tries to sprawl out of it but McKraken keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lavigne manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

I would just about give that final round to Gemechu McKraken.
Well McKraken has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
