Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David McDonald (ranked 2430 p4p, 1539 weight class) and Dado Damba (ranked 337 p4p, 235 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that David McDonald has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily David McDonald seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dado Damba!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damba avoids a kick to the body.
McDonald throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McDonald throws a body shot but no joy.
Damba moves into range and connects with a jab.
Damba has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Damba there as he acknowledges the shot.
McDonald lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Damba circles away quickly and effectively.
Damba throws a combination that misses
and McDonald counters with a shoot takedown. Damba fights it but they end up in guard.
McDonald postures up and lands a big shot to Damba's brow.
McDonald is working Damba over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Damba keeping moving, preventing McDonald from controlling successfully.
Damba working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McDonald doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McDonald manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Damba is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! McDonald rolls with it to try and escape but Damba cranks on the arm and McDonald is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
