The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrels throws a jab when Donowitz was well out of range.
Donowitz swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Donowitz scores with a kick to the midsection.
Barrels shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Tu Barrels has been cut.

Barrels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Donowitz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Donowitz keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
