Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Ray Kshymensky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter has chosen Stuntin' like my Daddy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Ray Kshymensky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Carter!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter knocks Kshymensky to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?


Kshymensky is rocked!


It looks like Jesse Ray Kshymensky has been cut.

Carter decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Oh Kshymensky is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kshymensky just misses with a punch to the body.
Kshymensky seems to have got his legs back now.
Shawn Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carter closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carter tries to score with some ground and pound. Kshymensky controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Carter stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Kshymensky looks to throw the jab but Carter is out of range.

Carter has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Carter misses with a wild combination.
Kshymensky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carter scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Carter connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kshymensky is breathing heavily.

Carter lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Carter fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kshymensky on the side of the head.

Carter stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Carter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kshymensky walks into a straight right hand from Carter.

Carter bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Carter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kshymensky is looking to escape.

Carter looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Carter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kshymensky's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Carter is landing with some decent strikes but Kshymensky is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Carter stands up and waves to Kshymensky to follow him.

Carter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Kshymensky will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Kshymensky takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Carter has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Carter thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Kshymensky if he has to take too many more of those.

Kshymensky has momentary wrist control but Carter slips an elbow through the middle.

Carter postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Carter stands and steps away. Kshymensky gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Shawn Carter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Nice straight punches there by Carter. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Carter.
Kshymensky changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carter tries to avoid it but Kshymensky manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carter to the ground. Carter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jesse Ray Kshymensky. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kshymensky throws a series of punches but Carter avoids them all with ease.
Kshymensky swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Kshymensky takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Carter lands with a kick to the ribs.
Carter connects with a jab.
Carter throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Carter lands a jab-cross combination.
Carter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Kshymensky pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Carter throws a nice inside leg kick.

Carter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Carter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
