Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaxon Riley (ranked 6020 p4p, 5921 weight class) and Jon Snitch (ranked 647 p4p, 0 weight class). Snitch has chosen I Wanna Rock as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Snitch shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Riley napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Snitch loads up on a big right hand but Riley slips the punch.

Snitch dives in for a single leg takedown but Riley sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Riley shoots in for a takedown but Snitch shows good takedown defense.

Snitch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Riley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Snitch closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Let's hope that Snitch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Snitch has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Riley regains guard immediately.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riley can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Snitch controls the pace.
