Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Panda Aorigele (ranked 184 p4p, 116 weight class) and Kusal Perera (ranked 31 p4p, 20 weight class). Aorigele comes to the cage accompanied by Mama Said Knock You Out. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Panda Aorigele!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kusal Perera!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aorigele closes the distance and pushes Perera back into the cage.
Perera lands a right hand.
Aorigele throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Aorigele lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Perera backwards.

Aorigele breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aorigele throws a body punch but Perera moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Perera on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Perera with a nice cross.
It looks like Panda Aorigele has been cut.
Aorigele tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Perera was well out of range. Poor timing from Aorigele.
A nice side step and Perera releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Perera lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Perera throws a lazy uppercut
and Aorigele connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Perera scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Perera scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Perera sends Aorigele crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Perera is motioning to the referee to let Aorigele up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Aorigele is rocked!
We've been told by Aorigele's head coaches at Canadian Elite Bruins Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aorigele leaves his chin hanging out and Perera seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Aorigele crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kusal Perera!
During a confident post fight interview, Kusal Perera thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
