Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benny Klimp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rutten has chosen Hero as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Benny Klimp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bas Rutten!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klimp shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Klimp showed some decent athleticism there.
Rutten is trying to stand.
Rutten looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Klimp stands up from half guard.
Rutten feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Klimp sprawling to the canvas! Klimp rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rutten finish him?!
Klimp clinches with his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rutten wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rutten tries to pull guard but Klimp won't allow it.
Klimp's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
No luck for Rutten with that takedown attempt.
Rutten shoots in and bounces Klimp off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Klimp is rocked!
Klimp avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rutten wants to stand but Klimp is controlling his posture from full guard.
Klimp bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rutten's guard.
Rutten keeping full guard, as Klimp tries to pass.
Klimp trying to control the position from guard on top but Rutten is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Klimp with a flurry of punches that miss.
Klimp passes Rutten's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Klimp wants to free his trapped foot but Rutten is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Klimp takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Klimp prevents Rutten from improving his position.
Rutten is staying active underneath Klimp, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Rutten wants to sweep but Klimp has passed to side control!
Rutten tries to improve position but can't.
Rutten is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Rutten connects with a body shot.
Klimp is breathing heavily.
Rutten scores with a jab to the jaw.
Rutten shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rutten avoids the attempt from Klimp to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rutten wants to stand but Klimp is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Rutten trying to control but Klimp is having none of it.
Klimp sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Klimp manages to escape and get back to his feet!
A combination from Klimp does no damage.
Rutten throws a leg kick but Klimp moved away.
Rutten misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rutten fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Klimp on the side of the head.
Klimp shoots in and drives through. Rutten sprawls well.
Rutten fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Benny Klimp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bas Rutten.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Klimp fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Rutten.
Rutten clinches but Klimp breaks the clinch
and Klimp counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Klimp looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rutten is fending him off so far but Klimp persists. Nope, Rutten circles away and we're back to standing.
Klimp on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Rutten lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rutten darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rutten dodges the punch combination from Klimp.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rutten throws a series of strikes that have Klimp backpedaling.
Rutten darts in trying to clinch
and Klimp decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rutten's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bas Rutten dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Klimp ducks under a wild hook from Rutten.
Klimp misses with a body shot
and Rutten counters with an outside leg kick.
Bas Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Klimp looks up at the clock. Bad move! Rutten lands a right hand from hell, dropping Klimp. Rutten pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bas Rutten!
