Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mason McNamara (ranked 5311 p4p, 3617 weight class) and Bombay Rat (ranked 624 p4p, 460 weight class). Rat has chosen Cocaine Krueger Holygrounds as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNamara tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rat paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Rat throws out a counter right but McNamara avoids it with no problem.
Rat throws out a powerful jab.
Rat scores with a jab. McNamara acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

and Rat counters with a three punch combo that has McNamara backing up. McNamara nods at Rat to acknowledge the strikes.
McNamara shoots and misses

and Rat counters with a crisp one two that drops McNamara! Rat thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves McNamara to his feet! McNamara is in big trouble!

McNamara is rocked!

Rat lands a big right hand that sends McNamara crashing to the mat! Rat stays standing though and waves McNamara back to his feet!
Oh McNamara is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McNamara gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Rat gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bombay Rat!
A relieved looking Bombay Rat thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
