Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Manhoeff (ranked 2036 p4p, 2325 weight class) and Wesley Janssen (ranked 274 p4p, 304 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Wesley Janssen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janssen fails with the takedown
and Manhoeff counters with a nice double leg into side control. Janssen won't be happy with that.
Manhoeff working the ground and pound from side control.
It looks like Wesley Janssen has been cut.

That has opened up Wesley Janssen's cut even more.
Manhoeff wants to control but Janssen is keeping him busy.
Janssen sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Manhoeff thows a huge punch but Janssen dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manhoeff slips a nice elbow through Janssen's hands, connecting with Janssen's forehead.
Janssen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Manhoeff scores with a couple of nice shots.
The cut above Wesley Janssen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Manhoeff lands a nice short elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Janssen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Manhoeff pulls his head out easily.
Manhoeff winds up and cracks Janssen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Wesley Janssen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
