Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Clause (ranked 2756 p4p, 875 weight class) and Rolando Marcellini (ranked 363 p4p, 135 weight class). Clause comes into the arena with Hustlers Ambition blaring out of the sound system. Rolando Marcellini has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clause looks to throw the jab but Marcellini is out of range.
Marcellini ducks under a wild hook from Clause.
Clause takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Clause cracks Marcellini with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Clause checks the leg kick nicely there.
A counter left hand to the body from Clause misses its target.
Marcellini takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Clause misses with a series of wild punches.
Marcellini takes a swing at Clause's ribcage but misses.
Clause swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Marcellini throws a push kick but Clause slaps the foot to one side.
Marcellini bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Marcellini steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Clause.
Marcellini scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Clause slips under a jab.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Clause uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marcellini .
Marcellini moves out of range of the strikes.
Marcellini looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Marcellini is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Clause rather than just go for the knockout.
Clause swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Marcellini throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clause gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Marcellini .
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Marcellini has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Clause fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Marcellini looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Marcellini cracks Clause with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Marcellini has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Clause to stand back up!

It looks like Jayson Clause has been cut.

Oh Clause is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marcellini lands an uppercut, right on the button! Clause tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
