Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Paulik!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin clinches up with Paulik and pushes him back against the cage.
Paulik is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Paulik prevents a takedown attempt there.

Griffin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Paulik avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Griffin is trying to drag Paulik to the mat but Paulik just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Griffin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Griffin has hold of one of Paulik's legs. Paulik is fighting the takedown attempt but Griffin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paulik can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Paulik wants to stand but Griffin is controlling the position.

Paulik seems to be working for a kimura but Griffin defends the submission attempt.

Paulik lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Paulik looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Paulik lands a big elbow - Griffin is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Paulik!
