Davies tries to free his leg and advance position but Semyorka is retaining full guard.

Davies decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Semyorka, up you get!
Semyorka scores with a nice strike.
Semyorka lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Semyorka pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Davies back to the cage. Semyorka follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Horrible takedown attempt by Davies or perhaps it was just good defense by Semyorka, which made it look bad.
Nice straight punches there by Semyorka. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Semyorka.
Neuzvarams Semyorka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davies moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Semyorka cracks Davies's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Davies slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Semyorka can do further damage! This one is done, son!
