Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scott Gabel (ranked 1994 p4p, 3250 weight class) and Gajah Mada (ranked 292 p4p, 437 weight class). Gabel comes to the cage accompanied by Lil Wayne- Right Above It. Mada has chosen Fighter Mode as his entrance music. Gajah Mada has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gabel has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mada pushes off an throws an elbow but Gabel leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Gabel stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Gabel cracks Mada with a nice body shot.
Mada tries to pull guard but Gabel won't allow it.
Gabel stalls.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Gabel.

Gabel tightens his grip and picks Mada up, before dumping him to the ground. Mada manages to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gabel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Mada throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mada is looking to clinch but Gabel is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mada looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mada is still on wobbly legs! Can Gabel finish him?
Gabel catches Mada with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Scott Gabel is winning the standup battle so far.
Gabel throws an overhand right that has Mada reeling! Gabel follows up with more punches and Mada is out cold! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Scott Gabel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
