Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rory Roberts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Don Peccorino !
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peccorino has Roberts up against the cage in a clinch.

Peccorino 's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Roberts changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Peccorino looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Peccorino parries the strikes from Roberts easily there. Roberts is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Peccorino to escape.

Roberts looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Roberts is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roberts cracks Peccorino with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Roberts is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Peccorino has escaped the position, nice work there.
Roberts has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Peccorino is not content to let Roberts control the position.
Peccorino is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Roberts wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Peccorino , who protects the arm well.

Peccorino throws Roberts to one side and escapes!

and Peccorino moves into the clinch.

Peccorino is trying to force a seperation but Roberts has the dominant position.
Peccorino prevents a takedown attempt there.
Roberts keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Peccorino 's efforts to push away.

Peccorino is trying to trip Roberts. He has hold of a leg but Roberts is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Peccorino persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Roberts is on top in guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Peccorino wants to stand but Roberts is controlling the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Roberts postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Peccorino is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Roberts, into his guard.

Roberts striking off his back but it's not causing Peccorino any problems.

Peccorino stands up from Roberts's guard - Peccorino perhaps looking for a knockout.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Roberts keeps the fight on the outside.

Peccorino rushes Roberts and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Roberts wants to take the fight to the mat but Peccorino manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rory Roberts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Roberts is looking to take this one to the mat.
Roberts is breathing heavily.
Roberts wants to break the clinch but can't.
Roberts tries to score a body lock takedown but Peccorino shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Roberts is trying to drag Peccorino to the mat but Peccorino just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Peccorino breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Roberts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Roberts keeps the fight on the outside.
Don Peccorino is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Peccorino misses with a two punch combination.
Roberts closes the distance and clinches up with Peccorino , looking for a takedown. Roberts pushes Peccorino against the cage but Peccorino circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Don Peccorino dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Peccorino ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Roberts misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Roberts tries to land a front kick but Peccorino steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Peccorino tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Roberts paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Peccorino dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Peccorino digs a good hook to Roberts's body.
Rory Roberts is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A lazy left from Peccorino finds it's target.

It looks like Rory Roberts has been cut.
Peccorino fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Roberts looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Roberts drops his hands momentarily and Peccorino takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Roberts is rocked!

Peccorino darts in and clinches Roberts up against the cage.
Oh Roberts is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Peccorino breaks the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Peccorino wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Peccorino drives through and clinches with Roberts against the cage.

Peccorino wants the takedown. Roberts is fighting it off but Peccorino persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Roberts's guard against the cage.

Peccorino moves into the clinch.

Peccorino lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
