Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Jammer (ranked 3952 p4p, 3853 weight class) and Emmanuella Knapp (ranked 498 p4p, 484 weight class). Emmanuella Knapp will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dirk Jammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Emmanuella Knapp!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jammer blocks a head kick by Knapp.
Knapp uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jammer.
Knapp scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Jammer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Tez’s Stand N Bang ! in the buildup to the fight.
Jammer throws a big shot that misses.
Jammer fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knapp throws a right and a left that both miss.
Good shot there by Knapp.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jammer blocks the body kick.
Jammer half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Jammer throws a lazy right hand but Knapp sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jammer fails with a takedown attempt.
Knapp tries to clinch up but Jammer circles away and keeps his distance.
Jammer attempts a counter takedown but Knapp avoids it well and moves away.
Knapp slaps away a takedown attempt from Jammer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dirk Jammer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jammer avoids a punch combination nicely.

Knapp moves out of range as Jammer strikes.
Knapp lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Knapp throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jammer doesn't manage to clinch there - Knapp circles away.
No luck for Jammer with that takedown attempt.
Knapp uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jammer.
Knapp appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Jammer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Knapp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jammer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jammer staying calm.
Knapp wants to control but Jammer postures up.
Knapp tries to bench press Jammer off him but Jammer keeps the position.
Jammer looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Knapp wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Jammer connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Knapp some visible discomfort.

Jammer is working Knapp over with some ground and pound from side control.
Jammer scores with punches from side control.
Knapp takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Knapp bucks up and tries to throw Jammer off but instead Jammer has got his back!
Jammer looking for the choke but no joy.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jammer working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Knapp is doing well to defend. Jammer seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Knapp is forced to tap and this one is over!
