The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Metti does no damage.
Decent striking displayed by Ham there.
Metti shoots in and drives through. Ham sprawls well.
Metti throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ham misses with a straight right.

Metti has closed the distance and engaged Ham in a clinch.
Metti jumps guard but Ham stands there with Metti around his waist. Metti gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Metti has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ham is trying to keep an underhook but Metti manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Metti escapes and gets back to his feet.
Metti fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Canned Ham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Medium Metti.
Metti shoots in but no luck this time.
Metti chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ham can pounce on him.
Metti misses with a leg kick
and Ham counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Metti looks gassed!
Ham connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Metti's hands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Metti scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Ham moves out of range of the leg kick from Metti.
Ham swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Good shot there by Ham.
Ham looks to throw the jab but Metti is out of range.

Metti is rocked!
Ham throws a front kick that sends Metti stumbling back into the cage.
Metti avoids the head kick by Ham.
Metti avoids a punch combination nicely.
A jab from Ham misses.
Canned Ham is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Metti wants to clinch
and Ham counters with a head kick. That will keep Metti thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Metti is still on wobbly legs! Can Ham finish him?
Metti fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Metti seems to have recovered his senses.
Metti throws a body kick the misses
and Ham counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Ham looks at the referee who does nothing so Ham lands a crushing right that sends Metti to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
