Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Matt Hernandez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonny Seens!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seens decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Seens content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Seens throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hernandez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Seens is working away from the top position though.
Seens lands strikes from half guard.
Seens trying to control the pace.
Seens not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hernandez wants to control but Seens is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Seens is looking for a kimura but Hernandez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Seens to get the leverage.
Seens throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hernandez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Seens.

Seens not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Seens has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Seens prevents Hernandez from getting the reversal.
Hernandez is squirming around, avoiding Seens's attempts to control the action.
Hernandez is bucking up trying to escape but Seens cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Seens controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Seens in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Seens landing punches.
Seens has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hernandez can't escape the position.
Seens throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Hernandez because Seens loaded up on that one.
Seens controlling his opponent.
Hernandez looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Seens punishing his opponent with strikes.
Seens avoids the attempt from Hernandez to control.
Seens is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hernandez is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hernandez flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Seens anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hernandez and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Seens slips an arm under Hernandez chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Seens has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Seens is squeezing on Hernandez like an anaconda would it's prey. Hernandez fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
