Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Apple (ranked 6384 p4p, 5635 weight class) and Kyle Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Apple!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Rose!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose tries for a takedown but Apple circles away easily
and Apple holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Rose manages to break the clinch.
Apple has his takedown stuffed
and Rose makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Apple moves in looking to clinch but Rose pushes him off.
Apple moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromRose.
Apple tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rose sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Apple somewhat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Apple is leaning against Rose and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Rose changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Apple fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Rose tries to clinch up but Apple circles away and keeps his distance.
Rose drives through and clinches with Apple against the cage.
Rose prevents a takedown attempt there.
Come on Rose - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Rose tries for a takedown but Apple manages to get underhooks.
Rose is trying to pull guard but Apple turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

A close round but Kyle Rose will probably get the nod.

Apple connects with a single shot there.
Apple lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Rose tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Apple shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rose sprawls well. Rose wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Apple gets slowly back to his feet.
Rose is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Rose is trying to control the action in half guard but Apple is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Rose looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Rose takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rose wants to control the pace but Apple is squirming around nicely.
Apple is working to get back to half guard.
Rose can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Apple is looking to escape.

Rose is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Apple has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Apple!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Apple controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rose is trying to control the position but Apple postures up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Apple has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

so Rose counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kyle Rose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Rose sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Apple's guard.
