Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryer McGuire (ranked 1838 p4p, 865 weight class) and Tyrano Jackson (ranked 213 p4p, 101 weight class). McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd. Tyrano Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire chopping away at his opponent's legs.
McGuire uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson.
Jackson throws a right hand that misses
and McGuire counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Tyrano Jackson has been cut.
Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGuire manages to avoid it.
McGuire dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jackson. That did some damage!
Jackson misses with a right hand
and McGuire counters with a slapping leg kick.
Jackson checks a leg kick nicely.
And Jackson tries to counter it with a takedown but McGuire pushes his down on his head and steps out.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jackson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
McGuire clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McGuire takes one on the button.
McGuire bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
McGuire slips a straight right by Jackson.
McGuire fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jackson.
Tyrano Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jackson misses the jab.
McGuire uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson.
McGuire throws a jab but it's blocked by Jackson.

Jackson thuds his right hand into McGuire's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

McGuire keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jackson throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
It appears McGuire was looking to counter with a kick there.
Jackson moves out of range of the body kick.
Jackson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McGuire is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
McGuire fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jackson is out of range.
McGuire cracks Jackson with an open hand slap.
McGuire digs a good body shot into Jackson's ribs.
McGuire avoids the body shot from Jackson.
As Jackson backs away, McGuire returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
McGuire moves out of range of the leg kick from Jackson.
McGuire connects with a crisp jab.
McGuire cracks Jackson with a hook to the temple - Jackson is on wobbly legs here! McGuire swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Jackson falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! McGuire wins by TKO!
