The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustafson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tynkkynen.
A lazy left from Tynkkynen finds it's target.
Gustafson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gustafson tries to close the distance and clinch but Tynkkynen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gustafson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tynkkynen slips a jab from Gustafson.
Tynkkynen wants to counter the offense by Gustafson and move into the clinch position.
Tynkkynen lands with a good body shot.
Gustafson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tynkkynen counters with a nice uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gustafson has hold of Tynkkynen's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tynkkynen tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gustafson cranks the arm and Tynkkynen screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tynkkynen, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
