Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Lisko (ranked 5193 p4p, 3069 weight class) and James Murray (ranked 600 p4p, 81 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Lisko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Murray!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lisko thumps Murray with a low kick.

Murray gets a double leg takedown into Lisko's guard.
Murray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lisko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Murray throwing strikes but missing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lisko controls Murray momentarily but Murray frees himself.
Murray not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lisko is on top in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lisko is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Murray manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Murray throws a head punch that misses.
Murray lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lisko backwards.

Lisko is fighting off a takedown attempt but Murray is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lisko to the mat. Lisko regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Murray must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

It looks like Murray might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lisko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Murray's guard.

Murray is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lisko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Murray swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Murray closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lisko quickly recovers to half guard.
Well, if Murray is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lisko throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Murray only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Murray slaps away a takedown attempt from Lisko, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Murray or perhaps it was just good defense by Lisko, which made it look bad.

Murray looks to score with a jab to the body but Lisko is just out of range.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Murray is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Lisko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Murray but Murray pushes him off and we're back to square one.

James Murray showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Murray misses the shot to the body.
Lisko shoots in looking for a takedown but Murray manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lisko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

It looked like Lisko was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Murray.

James Murray comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Murray has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
