Dawson comes to the cage accompanied by Lambda Lambda Lambda Song. Rogers has chosen For Whom The Bell Tolls by Metallica as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dawson pinned against the cage. Dawson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dawson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rogers looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Dawson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Rogers makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Dawson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
