Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fritz Kongo (ranked 5103 p4p, 5084 weight class) and Lucas Campos (ranked 634 p4p, 632 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Campos throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Kongo gets tackled into the cage by Campos. Campos maintains the clinch.

Kongo has Campos pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kongo pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Campos tumbling to the mat - Kongo dives into Campos's guard.
Kongo wants to get up but he can't break Campos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kongo sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Campos doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Kongo paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Campos - great work!

A relieved looking Lucas Campos thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
