Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Scot Harwath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor OShea!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OShea missing with a left hand there. Harwath was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
OShea lands with a kick to the temple. Harwath shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
OShea throws a poor cross that misses
and Harwath counters with a straight right hand.
Harwath gets cracked there but stands up to it.
OShea lands with a shot to the body.
OShea shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Harwath counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
OShea on the wrong end of a nice hook.
OShea lands a high kick!
OShea is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
OShea throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
No joy there for OShea, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
OShea with a lazy takedown attempt
and Harwath cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
OShea is rocked!
OShea bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Harwath comes at him with an uppercut from hell! OShea falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! OShea was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Scot Harwath!
